Seth Wescott, MS, ATSA-F
Biography
Seth Wescott received a master’s degree in clinical psychology and is a Licensed Master’s Level Psychologist (LMLP). He has worked with individuals who have displayed problematic sexual behaviors since 2002. Mr. Wescott has worked in correctional settings for adults and adolescents, as well as various community-based settings. He has served as a clinician and administrator and has managed state and federal contracts continuously since 2011. In 2021, he co-founded Counterpoise Wellness, a private practice in the Kansas City area. In private practice, Mr. Wescott conducts forensic psychosexual evaluations for adults and adolescents at various stages of the criminal justice process. He provides outpatient therapy for adjudicated and non-adjudicated individuals who have displayed problematic sexual behavior. Mr. Wescott conducts trainings for governmental and other agencies, provides expert testimony in criminal cases, and offers consultation to stakeholders regarding policy and practice issues. He is an ATSA Fellow, serves as Chair of the ATSA Public Policy Committee, and is a member of the ATSA Adult Clinical Practice Committee. He is a certified Static-99R/Stable-2007/Acute-2007 trainer. He is an Adjunct Professor of Psychology at Rockhurst University, and an Adjunct Professor of Counseling at Mid-America Nazarene University.
