Dr. Sharon Kelley
Biography
Sharon Kelley, Psy.D. is a psychologist who is licensed in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and California. Since January 2013, she has been an SVP evaluator for the Evaluation Unit at Sand Ridge Secure Treatment Center in Wisconsin. She also has a private practice, Forensic Assessment, Research, and Training (FASTR, LLC), that receives a range of psychosexual assessment referrals for individuals both in the community and in corrections. Dr. Kelley has published, and is in the process of publishing, several journal articles related to the Static-99R. This includes studies on the frequency of use (Kelley et al., 2020), the time free effect (Thornton, Hanson, Kelley, & Mundt, 2021), admissibility issues (Helmus, Kelley, et al., submitted), and incremental contributions of the Static-99R and VRS-SO (Olver, Kelley, et al., 2021). In addition to being a Static-99R trainer, Dr. Kelley is a certified Violence Risk Scale – Sexual Offense version (VRS-SO) trainer, and a co-developer of the Structured Assessment of Protective Factors against Sexual Offending (SAPROF-SO).
