Dr. Andrew Brankley, C.Psych.
Biography
Dr. Brankley is a clinical forensic psychologist and the Project Scientist in the Kurt Freund Phallometric Lab and the Sexual Behaviours Clinic at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), Toronto, Canada. Honoured to have been Karl Hanson’s last Ph.D. student, Dr. Brankley continues to study harmful sexual behaviour and violence. His research focuses heavily on measurement, with two major priorities: improving models of risk-relevant psychological constructs, and developing tools for measuring those constructs. He is a member of the Static/STABLE/ACUTE development team, a certified Static-99R trainer, and a past Executive Board member for the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers. He is the lead author on the recent STABLE-2007 and ACUTE-2007, and a fan of knowledge mobilization through his YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/c/AndrewBrankley).
