Description
The Risk Matrix 2000 is an actuarial scale combining easily available information to assess recidivism risk among adult males convicted of a sexual offence (including those who have been convicted for possession of child sexual exploitation materials). It includes a Sexual scale (to predict sexual recidivism) and a Violence scale (to predict non-sexual violence recidivism). The Risk Matrix 2000 predicts its intended outcomes with moderate to large accuracy. The training will present background information on the Risk Matrix 2000 and will teach participants how to score, report, and interpret the scale in applied evaluations.
