About SAARNA
The Society for the Advancement of Actuarial Risk Needs Assessment (SAARNA) is a not-for-profit registered in Ontario, Canada. Our mission is to promote high-quality research and implementation of instruments for the assessment of risk and intervention needs relevant to sexual, violent, and general recidivism. We aspire to risk assessment practices that advance public protection and the orderly, supported, and safe reintegration of individuals in the corrections and mental health systems.
