Part one of this training will focus on the Time-Free Calculator. The research background to the development of the Time-Free Calculator will be explained as well as the results of subsequent research examining its accuracy.

How to set up the Time-Free Calculator for use will be explained. Its use for various applications will be demonstrated and participants will practice using the Time-Free Calculator on case studies. Ways to describe the results in reports and in testimony will be illustrated.

Common challenges to the use of the Time-Free Calculator will be discussed.
Part two of this training will focus on the STABLE Calculator. How the STABLE Calculator was development will be described along with its strengths and weaknesses. Its application to a variety of case studies will be illustrated and participants will have the opportunity to practice applying it. Ways to describe the results in reports and in testimony will be illustrated. Common challenges to the use of the STABLE Calculator will be discussed.

Individuals are most likely to benefit from this training if they have experience evaluating sexual
recidivism risk and testifying about their findings.

The training assumes familiarity with the static sexual recidivism risk tool, Static-99R, and the dynamic sexual recidivism risk tool, STABLE-2007.
